What kind of game is this?
This game mixes action and thinking. It is kind of like Minesweeper with monsters.
But the goal of this game is not to find all the mines like in Minesweeper. The goal here is to get to the flag. Sounds like an easy task but the flag is usually behind a locked door and the levels are full of mines and monsters. There are more mines than monsters, but the monsters can move and they want to eat you.
So don't step on mines and don't feed monsters!
You can find or buy items that will help you cross the minefields.

Controls
You play the game with the keyboard and the mouse.

Keys
Arrow keys OR w,a,s,d - move
K,L - switch items
Space - use items
Enter - close/skip messages

Mouse
Left button - use items, same as space and enter
Right button - mark fields
Middle button - switch items

Items
There are 2 main item types

1.Items that are used instantaneously
Thease items are used when just by pressing space once, or clicking the left mouse button.

2.Items that need a target
You use them by pressing space and then selecting a target with arrow keys, then press space again to use.
You can also use the mouse, click left mouse button then select the target and click again.
If you want to cancel select yourself as the target.
When you are selecting the target monsters don't move.

An important item is the X-Ray Sock, it is almost like an extra life, because it automatically stops you from stepping on a mine.
And dirty diapers are a strong weapon.

A list of items is to the right of the game, but it doesn't show all the items that are in game.

But how do I know where the mines are!?
You usually can't see the mines but you have a mine detector that tells you how many mines are around you. When 1 or more mines are 1 field away from you there will be a red number written over your character. This number tells you how many mines are around you.


Marking mines
If you find a mine where you think a mine is then mark it with the right mouse button. You cannot move in the marked field. When you finish the level you will get points for marked mines. You can unmark the field by clicking on them with the right mouse button. Mines and fields that are already explored cannot be marked.




Monsters
There are different kinds of monsters. Some step on mines other only walk on explored tiles...
It is good to know that gremlins won't touch you, but if you touch them they will kill you.

Tips
1.Don't save your money, buy items.
2.Don't collect items, use them!
3.If your detector finds a mine, do not ignore it! Go back and walk where it is safe or find the exact location of the mine.
4.Charity can someday save your life...
